The depression is considered severe when the person suffers:
1.Insomnia, early morning wakefulness or sleeping too much.
2.Pessimism and hopelessness.
3.Restlessness.
4.Feeling of guilt, worthylessness.
5.Overeating or appetite loss.
6.Aches, headaches and cramps.
7.Digestive problems, that dont get better, even with treatment.
8.Persistent sadness.
Moreso,a person suffers withdrawal symptoms by disassociating himself or herself with friends and family
